What makes our beauty and grooming tools stand out from regular products?

Our beauty and grooming tools are crafted and developed by the finest master craftsmen in Seki, Japan. Because they are hand-sharpened during production, they offer an exceptional, long-lasting sharpness far superior to that obtainable with machine-edged products, and also display a minimal degree of wear and tear.

How do you clean beauty and grooming tools?

After use, clean the tool with a damp cloth and then wipe it dry. Our ear cleaners should be disinfected after use with disinfectant available from a pharmacy to ensure no dirt enters the auditory canal inside your ear.

Can I take Seki EDGE beauty tools and nail-care products along with me when I travel?

Thanks to their handy size, our beauty tools and nail-care products will fit into any make-up bag or handbag, making them not only travel-ready but also convenient for practical, everyday use. We have also added the description "approved for air travel" to designated products you can, without hesitation, take along as part of your hand luggage when you travel abroad.

What are the advantages of a round tip for files and tweezers, etc.?

A rounded tip means there is no risk of injury when using the tool, so a design with no sharp corners is ideal for children, the elderly and diabetics.

What is the advantage of a serrated cutting edge?

A serrated edge allows precision cutting with maximum control, which helps to prevent slipping or otherwise damaging your skin.

What is a body hair trimmer most suitable for?

Our body hair trimmer features a jagged cutting edge which allows you to cut coarse beard hair and body hair. It can also be used for shaping beautiful eyebrows.

Nail clippers or nail scissors: which tool is best for me?

Nail clippers are useful for trimming thicker nails and toenails. The dual blades apply equal pressure to the whole nail when clipping, which helps to avoid the cracks that can occur on the thick, horny nail plate. Nail scissors, on the other hand, have finer tips which can deliver more precise results. They are particularly suitable for small, short nails, and for tidying up snags.

Seki EDGE products can be conveniently and securely purchased via:

Not all of our accepted payment methods may be shown.
These decisions are made by our payment service providers.

When will I be charged?

If paying by credit card, the invoice amount will be debited immediately.
A payment by direct debit is usually debited 1-3 working days after the order has been placed if the billing address in within Germany, and within 5-7 days for orders outside Germany.
For all other payment methods offered by us, the debit takes place immediately after the order.

Payment methods when ordering over the phone

In the case of orders over the phone, we can only accept advance payments, as we may not collect sensitive data from our customers.

Why am I not being offered all possible methods of payment?

Unfortunately we have no influence over which payment methods are offered to you online. This decision is made independently in real time by our external payment service providers, the online payment services from PayPal or AmazonPay.

Problems with the immediate transfer

If you were unable or unwilling to complete the payment process with the immediate transfer, we will gladly change the payment method to advance payment and send you our bank details. Please contact our customer service for this.

PayPal purchase on account - have I already paid?

Since the payment method invoice is handled by PayPal, we unfortunately have no insight into the payment details. In our PayPal account, the invoice amount of your order is displayed as paid, because we have received the amount from PayPal and PayPal claims the amount from you.
If you have any problems during the payment process or if you are unsure whether you have already paid the invoice amount, please contact the PayPal invoice department directly: +49 0800 723 4730 (Mo-Fr, 8:00-17:00) from within Germany, or +49 69 945189832 from outside Germany.

Shipping and delivery

Delivery time

Generally speaking, delivery time within Germany is 1-3 days from your order. More details about our delivery times can be found in our shipping and payment conditions. Unfortunately we cannot offer express shipping.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping to Germany and many EU countries is free for orders over €40. You can find out more on our page about shipping and payment conditions.

Shipping Service Providers

Seki EDGE ships its beauty tools via its logistics partners DHL and DPD in special, transport-secure packaging.

Order tracking

Our e-mail shipping confirmation will also contain a shipment or tracking number to track your shipment.
Just enter this number on the respective website of our logistics partner DHL or DPD to view the current location of your order.
If you have created a free Seki EDGE customer account, you can view shipment tracking under the menu item "My orders"

Delivery on a specified date

Our shipping process is fully automated. Unfortunately, this means we cannot guarantee a specific delivery date.
If you cannot take delivery of your order in person, there are several options:
- Place your order at a later date
- Your parcel can be delivered to a parcel shop where it can be picked up within 7 days
- You make arrangements with the shipping service provider to nominate another person to receive the delivery on your behalf.

Gift wrap an artwork

Unfortunately this is not possible, as the packaging for transport cannot be combined with gift wrapping. However, you can buy and gift a Seki EDGE *gift voucher.

Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

100 days right of return

We grant our customers a 100-day right of return on all the beauty tools we offer.

Returning your order

Upon receipt of the goods, we grant you a 100-day right of return. We have summarised details of the returns procedure here.
Please send us an e-mail with your order number to service@seki-edge.com. We will then send you a return label so you can return your order to us free of charge.
Our return label e-mail will also include a link you can use to find your nearest DHL/DPD parcel shop.

What should I do if I wish to return my order?

Ideally, you should retain and re-use the original packaging when returning your beauty tool. But if this is not possible, please ensure the packaging is secure.
Unfortunately, we cannot send you any replacement packaging, but we will send you a return label.

Received a damaged order

If your order has been damaged on its way to you, please send us an e-mail with your order number to service@seki-edge.com. We will then send you a return slip so you can send the beauty tool back to us free of charge.

Will I get a replacement delivery?

Where a beauty tool has been damaged in transit, we can usually arrange a replacement delivery. Please send us pictures in advance to service@seki-edge.com so we can inspect the damage and authorise arrangements for any replacement delivery.

Automatic returns after unsuccessful deliveries

Please let our customer service team know whether we should send your packet to your again, and whether the address provided should remain the same.

Refunds

We usually refund you for the invoice amount 7 business days after your return arrives. We will use the same payment method you originally used.
